Cosmetic composition (A) for treating keratin fibers, especially of humans such as hair, comprises, in a medium, at least one cationic poly(vinyl lactam) polymer (P); a cationic crosslinked polymer (P1), i.e. a homo- or co-polymer of methacryloyloxyalkyl(1-4C)trialkyl(1-4C)ammonium chloride, and a non-volatile silicone (S).
