The present invention provides a coupling and methods of use of the coupling. In one aspect the invention provides a coupling for use with a lamp fitting operated by a power supply, which coupling allows mounting/dismounting of the fitting without electrical isolation from the supply said coupling comprising: a) a mounting member having a first electrical connector element with shielded contact points connectable to the power supply, said member being suitable for fixing to a structure; and engageable with said mounting member, b) a holder member suitable for holding a lamp fitting said member having a second electrical connector element able to conduct power to a lamp fitting; c) wherein engagement of the first and second members allows the first and second electrical connector elements to come into contact and disengagement allows electrical contact to be broken without exposure of the contact points. |
