The invention relates to a process for preparing a food product as sheets. According to the invention, the process consists in slicing vegetables, such as potatoes or carrots, at a thickness of 1...20 mm, after which the slices are superposed in 3...10 layers, resulting in a layered product to be compacted by sewing with natural or artificial edible membranes, after which the product is portioned and conditioned for packaging and storage, using means known per se. |
