An apparatus for supporting an image diagnosis and a method thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment, the apparatus for supporting an image diagnosis comprises: a relative location determining unit configured to determine a relative location of a probe with respect to a patient body based on absolute location information and angle information of the probe; a mapping unit configured to map a current image, obtained through the probe by using the determined relative location of the probe, to a three-dimensional model; and a screen output unit configured to output a three-dimensional body model on a screen wherein a photographed part and a pre-photographed part of the current image are marked in the three-dimensional body model based on a mapping result. |
