In a general aspect, the method comprises the steps of: providing a display where an electronic device is changed from a battery state-of-charge to a battery state-of-discharge; and measuring the initially measured state-of-charge of the battery of the electronic device. In an event in which the initial MSOC value exceeds the threshold value, the method further comprises the steps of: determining a compensation value on the basis of the initial MSOC value and the threshold value; determining an initially reported state-of-charge (RSOC) value by scaling the initial MSOC value by using the compensation value; and reporting the initial RSOC value by using the electronic device. |
