Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a device and a method for controlling security of an electronic device. An electronic device driving method may comprise: a step of detecting at least one touch input; a step of detecting at least one among a touch shape, a number of touches, or a touch area corresponding to each of the touch input; and a step of generating a reference pattern to perform an unlocking procedure based on at least one among the touch shape, the number of touches, or the touch area corresponding to each of the touch input. Other embodiments may be possible. According to an embodiment of the present invention, personal information in an electronic device can be protected, while various user demands are met. |
