The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a wireless communications unit; a display unit; a depth sensor for generating a depth signal by measuring the depth of a space; a motion sensor for generating a movement signal by tracking a movement of the mobile terminal inside the space; and a control unit for generating a three-dimensional map on the space by combining the depth signal and the movement signal when accessing a search mode by receiving an emergency disaster text message through the wireless communications unit, searching an evacuation route by comparing the three-dimensional map and a reference map, and displaying the evacuation route in the display unit. |
