According to an embodiment of the present invention, a hybrid vehicle control system includes: an engine generating power by combusting fuel; a motor assisting the power of the engine by generating power through electricity supplied from a battery; an atmospheric pressure sensor measuring atmospheric pressure; a temperature sensor measuring the temperature of intake air flowing into the engine; an application component operated by receiving power from the battery; an accelerator pedal sensor sensing the manipulation of an accelerator pedal; a brake pedal sensor sensing the manipulation of a brake pedal; a driving tendency determining part determining a driving tendency of a driver from the manipulation of the brake pedal and the manipulation of the accelerator pedal, sensed from the accelerator pedal sensor and the brake pedal sensor; and a control part maintaining and controlling the SOC balancing of the battery based on the driving tendency, determined by the driving tendency determining part, a weight of the application component, or a correction factor calculated from the temperature of the intake air, measured through the temperature sensor, and the atmospheric pressure, measured through the atmospheric pressure sensor. The purpose of the present invention is to improve the driving performance and fuel efficiency of a hybrid vehicle. |
