APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING SMART TV MOVIE USING STILL IMAGE AND THE METHOD THEREOF

The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing a smart TV video using still image and a method thereof, wherein a server receives a user′s still image, and then creates a smart TV video according to a user video edition command via a video edition tool part to play the video on a smart TV. The apparatus for providing a smart TV video using still image is made up of a video providing server which comprises: a controller part which is implemented on a user terminal to output an interface display for a video edition, to upload still image into a server control part according to a user input command, and to control a video edition tool part for carrying out a video production; a server control part which communicates with the controller part to register the still image, to receive a user input command for a video production, and to receive the smart TV′s request for video transmission to provide the video; a video edition tool part which creates a video using the still image according to the user input command for the video production; and a storing part which stores one or more of the still image and the video produced by using the still image. The present invention provides an effect which creates and provides a smart TV video image to be played on a smart TV using a user′s still image.
