The invention relates to a method and a transducer for measuring the temperature in a sample which is heat treated with power microwave radiation, in an applicator with stationary distribution of microwave field. According to the invention, the method consists in determining the distribution of microwave power density in an applicator and in a sample, a zone of minimal distribution of power density being selected based on the so determined distribution, and a temperature transducer is placed therein, in thermal contact with the sample. The claimed transducer is connected to a control system of a microwave generator which supplies an enclosure with power microwave radiations and consists of a tubular sheath (11) made of a non-magnetic material, having a copper end (13) whereon a temperature sensor (12) is fixed with a soldering alloy, the active contacts of the sensor (12) being connected by some wires (14a, 14b and 14c) to a connector (15) and a connecting cable (16) mounted on the sheath (11), at the end opposite to the sensor (12). |
