SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THINGS TOUCH DETECTION

Disclosed are a system and a method for detecting touch of a thing. The system for detecting touch of a thing comprises: a first transducer; a second transducer; and a touch detecting device. The first transducer is mounted on one side of a thing to periodically receive and transmit a signal. The second transducer is mounted on the other side of the thing to receive and transmit the signal in synchronization with the first transducer. The touch detecting device adjusts a phase of a first scanning signal passing through the thing by the first transducer and a phase of a second scanning signal passing through the thing by the second transducer to attenuate amplitudes of the first and second scanning signals having interference, which occur as the first and second scanning signals overlap with each other while passing through the thing, to values with a predetermined range. When the first and second scanning signals having the interference occurring as the first and second scanning signals overlap with each other while passing through the thing have touch input sections that the amplitudes are amplified as the thing is touched, the touch detecting device analyzes the touch input sections to obtained information on the touch of the thing.
