The invention relates to a solar protection gel and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the gel contains 1...10x10M of 3-substituted 5,6-benzocumarine-type photosensitizing agent, 5...20 mg/ml polyethylene-glycol-based excipient, 1...5 N of sodium hydroxide, 1...5 g of zinc oxide and 15...50 ml of 1,3-propylene glycol. According to the invention, the process consists in dissolving the photosensitizing agent in ethyl alcohol, followed by admixing a polyethylene-glycol-based solution, a saline phosphate buffer solution and a NaOH solution, by dropping, at a temperature of 37°C, for 30 min, up to a pH value of 7.2...7.4, after which a dermal penetration intensifier 1,3-propylene glycol is added to the resulting mixture and, finally, a ZnO-type protection filter. |
