The invention relates to a manufacturing process and a bearing structure made of cast earth, used in the field of constructions in order carry out the walls of ecological dwellings at low cost. The process, as claimed by the invention, uses a formwork consisting of some poles (1) equidistantly arranged and stuck in the ground so as to confine a paralellepipedal volume inside which a bearing structure (4) of building wall is formed of cast earth, the wall being made as follows: at the inner part of the poles (1) there are some plates (2) of perforated metal sheet on whose inner side some plasterboards (3) are arranged and inside thereof a mixture of water, earth, gravel and sand, homogenized in a turbo-charged pug mill mixer, of the type of those used in the ceramic industry, is introduced for 30...60 min, the mixture being cast into the formwork in successive layers with thicknesses in the range of 20...30 cm separated from one another by a mesh (5) playing the role of a reinforcing armature, air is removed from filler by means of a vibrator, and the casting operation continues until the bearing wall reaches the desired height, a first dehumidification is performed with a suction pump provided with a sucking funnel (6), followed by a second dehumidification carried out by means of an infra-red lamp (8), the funnel (6) and the lamp (8) being successively carried by a mobile scaffold bridge (7) which can be moved around the plates (2) of perforated metal sheet until the wall is completely dry. The bearing structure, as claimed by the invention, comprises a mixture formed of pre-determined amounts of water, earth, gravel and sand placed in the formwork in layers with thicknesses ranging between 20...30 cm, some reinforcement meshes (5) of vegetal material, such as flax or hemp, as netting with meshes of 10 cm being placed between the layers. |
