Disclosed is a method of screening for an antibody, which comprises the steps of: Determining the antigen-binding activity of an antibody at pH 6.7 – pH 10.0 Determining the antigen-binding activity of an antibody at pH 4.0 – pH 6.5 Selecting an antibody whose antigen-binding activity at pH 6.7 - 10.0 is greater than the antigen-binding activity at pH 4.0 – pH6.5. Further discloses a method of screening for an antibody whose binding activity at a first pH is greater than that at a second pH, which comprises the steps of: binding an antibody or an antibody library encoded by one or more genes encoding one or more antibodies to an antigen-immobilized column under the condition of pH 6.7 to pH 10.0; eluting the antibody that had bound to the column at the first pH from the column under the condition of pH 4.0 to pH 6.5; and collecting the eluted antibody, or amplifying the gene encoding the eluted antibody from the antibody library and producing the antibody using the gene obtained thereby obtained.
