The present invention relates to a method of controlling an off-angle of a reluctance motor, which is capable of blocking current in advance according to a current value to generate a switching waveform of a lower side such that the off-angle is controlled according to an amount of current when being turned off, thereby preventing noise, and storing data on off-angles according to values of several types of switching waveforms in a memory such that the reluctance motor may be controlled according to a type of the generated waveform. According to the method of controlling an off-angle of a reluctance motor, signals and data values applied from first and second sensors and an encoder are learned and stored, and values according to a state and current and voltage values of an SRM currently driven based on the learning data are compared through a control unit to select an off-time of the SRM. A waveform which may be generated from the SRM is learned and stored and the driving state of the SRM is recognized based on the stored data such that the vibration and noise generated in a moment when being turned off may be restricted. |
