COMPRESSED DOSAGE FORM PRODUCED FROM PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING DONEPEZIL HYDROCHLORIDE OF POLYMORPHIC FORM I, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DOSAGE FORM

The application describes a compressed dosage form produced by direct compression of a pharmaceutical composition which is suited for the production of compressed dosage forms and which contains 2 to 10 wt.% of donepezil hydrochloride of the polymorphic form I and microcrystalline cellulose. Donepezil hydrochloride of the polymorphic form I in the directly compressed tablet stays stable even during long storage. The application also describes a method for producing said compressed dosage form containing donepezil hydrochloride, as well as the use of donepezil hydrochloride of the polymorphic form I for producing said compressed dosage form.
