PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which, in the case of initializing positional control by using an end, shortens a time for detecting the end and reduces erroneous detection of the end.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprising an imaging unit for imaging a subject comprises: change means for performing control to change the subject to be imaged by the imaging unit; discrimination means which, when the change means performs the control to change a range to be imaged by the imaging unit, discriminates the movement of the subject to be imaged by the imaging unit; and determination means for determining an original position for controlling the change means, in accordance with a result obtained by the discrimination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
