PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generator having high power conversion efficiency by using a low breakdown voltage element as a converter for generating operation voltage for an auxiliary machine.SOLUTION: A power generator includes a power conditioner 2 comprising: a non-insulation step-up converter 4 for stepping up power generation output of a fuel cell 1; an insulation DC/DC converter 5 for adjusting output voltage of the step-up converter 4; and an inverter 6 for converting output of the insulation DC/DC converter 5 to AC power capable of being system-interconnected to a power system 3. The insulation DC/DC converter 5 is constituted by a bidirectional converter including an insulation transformer 20. An auxiliary winding 29 is wound around the primary side of the insulation transformer 20. Switching elements 21, 25 is controlled so that output of the auxiliary winding 29 becomes close to operation voltage of an auxiliary machine of the fuel cell 1, to supply the output to a converter in an auxiliary machine power supply unit 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
