This charge/discharge management device is provided in equipment including a storage battery system. The storage battery system comprises a plurality of PCS groups. Each PCS group comprises a storage battery, a BMU, and a PCS. The charge/discharge management device comprises an operation SOC calculation unit, a stopped SOC estimation unit, and an initial SOC re-setting unit. The operation SOC calculation unit calculates, for each of the plurality of PCS groups, an operation SOC being an SOC on the basis of the cumulative value for current values supplied from the BMU added to the initial SOC for the storage battery. The stopped SOC estimation unit stops the charge/discharge of some of the groups and then estimates the stopped SOC for the storage batteries on the basis of the voltage values supplied from the BMU for said some groups, when stop conditions have been fulfilled. The initial SOC re-setting unit re-sets the initial SOC of the operation SOC calculation unit, using the stopped SOC, and also resets the cumulative value of the operation SOC calculation unit. |
