Provided is a transfer film which prevents air bubbles from being added during lamination for transfer and can form a laminate which can sufficiently endure even a wet heat test. Also provided are: a method for manufacturing said transfer film; a method for manufacturing a laminate by using said transfer film; a method for manufacturing a capacitive input device; and a method for manufacturing an image display device. Said transfer film is characterized by including a temporary support, a resin layer, and a cover film in a laminate structure and is characterized in that when the cover film is detached from the resin layer, the surface of the cover film which was in contact with the resin layer has a surface roughness SRz of 130 nm or less and SRa of 8 nm or less as measured according to JIS-B0601-2001.
