PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel that can achieve suitable view angle characteristics in a view from a driver's seat or a passenger's seat of a vehicle, even when variations in manufacturing the panels are present, a liquid crystal display device including the liquid crystal panel, and a method for manufacturing the liquid crystal panel.SOLUTION: For example, in a case where a pretilt angle of a liquid crystal molecule 41 on an array substrate side is formed by the liquid crystal molecule 41 spaced apart from the array substrate leftward on a display screen of the liquid crystal panel, in X directions that are horizontal directions of the liquid crystal panel, and where a pretilt angle of the liquid crystal molecule 41 on a counter substrate side is formed by the liquid crystal molecule 41 spaced apart from the array substrate rightward on the display screen of the liquid crystal panel, in the X directions, a biaxial retardation film 32c is disposed at a position where a slow axis 53 of the retardation film is shifted by a shift angle θ2, and more specifically, the slow axis is rotated in a counter-clockwise direction within an angle range of over 0° to 1° with respect to the X direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
