PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for tissue ablation.SOLUTION: A system includes a needle 103 having expandable filaments 206a, 206b that can form an asymmetrical offset damage in a target volume including a target nerve. When ablation is performed to at least a part of the target nerve, an ability of a nerve to transmit a signal such as a pain signal to a central nervous system, can be damaged. The offset damage directs an energy to the target nerve and make the energy separated from a side sub structure to make a surgery smooth. An exemplary anatomy includes: inside branch nerves of a lumbar part, a rib cage, and a cervical part; branches; and sacroiliac joints.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2D |
