PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make acceleration in the gantry rotation speed contribute to shortening in the exposure time in the heart beat synchronous imaging with a radiation tomography apparatus.SOLUTION: A radiation tomography apparatus for performing the heart beat synchronous imaging of a subject comprises: setting means which sets a plurality of reference times as the reference of the data collection period of scan data by a rotation angle necessary for image reconfiguration to the small variation period of the heart in the cardiac phase of one cardiac cycle; and control means which controls the data collection system so as to scan all the imaging range by performing scanning for performing collection of scan data with each of the plurality of reference times as the reference in synchronization with the heart beat of the subject to a part of the imaging range including the heart of the subject plural times while changing the part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
