Uses of a paroxetine medicament in preparing a pharmaceutical composition for treatment of cancer. The cancer refers to one or more among lung cancer, bladder cancer, cervical cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and tongue cancer. The effective dose is 20 to 500 mg/kg/day.
