PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imide structure-containing (meth)acrylic resin which can be suitably used for a raw material and the like of an optical film that is excellent in heat resistance, has a low birefringence, has high surface hardness and has a small photoelastic coefficient, a method for producing the same, an optical film containing the imide structure-containing (meth)acrylic resin, and an image display device having the optical film.SOLUTION: There is provided a (meth)acrylic resin containing an imide structure which has an absolute value of a stress optical coefficient (Cr) of 0.3×10Paor less and an acid value of 0.8 mmol/g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
