Disclosed is a recording method for a mobile terminal. The method includes: detecting a state of a mobile terminal when it is detected that a click action occurring on a pre-set physical key is a first pre-set action; if the mobile terminal is in a standby state, starting recording, and carrying out reminding in a first reminding mode; detecting the state of the mobile terminal when it is detected that the click action occurring on the physical key is a second pre-set action; if the mobile terminal is in the standby state, stopping recording, and carrying out reminding in a second reminding mode; and saving a generated recording file in a default path of the mobile terminal. Also disclosed are a recording apparatus and a mobile terminal, which can realize quick and private recording.
