Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to an input control method and an electronic device are provided. According to various embodiments of the disclosure, the electronic device comprises: a display; a memory for storing data to be displayed on the display, and a processor functionally connected to the display and the memory. The processor acquires an input for the electronic device; determines whether a cover for the electronic device is positioned on or over the display based on the input; and, when the cover is positioned on or over the display, displays data corresponding to the input through at least one of a first region and a second region of the display. The first region is arranged in a location corresponding to the first visual region and the second region is arranged in a location corresponding to the second visual region. |
