PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of reducing data amount to be stored, and reducing a process load when displaying animation.SOLUTION: A display device for vehicle is mounted on a vehicle, and presents information to a vehicle passenger by using image display on a display 8. The display device includes a memory 61 in which the image data including line drawing is stored, and a CPU1 which divides line drawing in the image data into a plurality of sections on the image data stored in the memory 61 for setting a plurality of mask images for masking, which is displayed on the display 8, and, executes a stepwise releasing process in which the plurality of set mask images are sequentially released along the drawing direction of the line drawing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
