PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing for a filtering device easy to exchange a filter medium, and the filtering device using the housing.SOLUTION: A housing for a filtering device in this invention has a storage container having an open end, and a lid capable of substantially changing the storage container to a sealed space by sealing the open end. The storage container equips a support shaft having a branched cross-sectional shape extending radially from a central part. The support shaft is preferably on a trestle surface capable of forming a space between the trestle and an inner wall face. In the filtering device, the hollow part of a filter medium is stored in the housing for the filtering device in such a state as inserted in the support shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
