Provided is a two-phase stainless steel in which the chemical composition is, in mass%, 0.03% C or less, 1.0% Si or less, 1.0% Mn or less, 0.04% P or less, 0.01% S or less, 0.1-1.0% Cu, 5.0-7.5% Ni, 22.0-26.0% Cr, 6.0-12.0% W, 0.20-0.32% N, 0.01% Mo or less, and the balance consisting of Fe and impurities, and in which the metallic structure comprises, in terms of area ratios, a 0.40-0.60 α phase, and the balance consisting of a γ phase and 0.01 other phases or less. |
