A rectification device (21) that constitutes a rotating electrical machine(1) for a vehicle is configured such that if a lead wire (14a) led out from a stator winding (14) is passed through a through hole (3a) of a rear bracket (3) which serves as a casing, a cylindrical member (24a) which extends from a main body of a terminal block (24) and surrounds the periphery of the lead wire (14a) seals the through hole (3a), and a through hole (3a) that is not sealed by the cylindrical member (24a) is similarly sealed with a lid (24b) which extends from the main body of the terminal block (24). Even if the number of led-out lead wires (14a) is reduced, the rear bracket (3) is standardized by sealing the through holes (3a) of the rear bracket (3) using the lids (24b).
