PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and reliability by a transformer station server monitoring the operation state of a protection control device by using first communication processing and second communication processing, and the protection control device making at least the second communication processing executable.SOLUTION: A transformer station server 1 and an IED 2 are connected in a both-way communication possible manner using a transmission protocol on the basis of a prescribed standard. The transformer station server monitors the operation state of the IED 2 using either first communication processing to transmit a cyclic transmission packet from the IED at a first cycle, or second communication processing to transmit a monitoring packet at a second cycle. The transformer station server performs the second communication processing if it determines that the IED does not perform the first communication processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
