PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molded coke capable of producing a molded coke having stably high strength.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing a molded coke having: a molding step where a coal and a binder are kneaded and molded to produce a molded coal; and a carbonization step where the molded coal is carbonized to obtain a molded coke. Before the molding step, a preparation step of estimating a change in the expansion coefficient in accordance with the content of the binder and a change in the expansion coefficient of the molding coal in accordance with molding pressure is provided. In the molding step, a molded coal in which the estimated value y based on the estimation result in the preparation step is 1 or higher is produced.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
