PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device of a multi-cylinder engine, in which local introduction of exhaust gas to a catalyst device is suppressed, and also variation in introduction positions of the exhaust gas to the catalyst device among cylinders is suppressed.SOLUTION: There is provided an exhaust device 1 of a multi-cylinder engine, in which the engine 10 is disposed in a front part of a vehicle in such a way that a row of cylinders 13a-13d are arranged in a vehicle width direction, and an exhaust system is disposed in a rear part of the engine 10 so as to extend backward. In the exhaust device 1, four independent exhaust pipes 41...41 corresponding to the cylinders 13a-13d, a single exhaust pipe 50 arranged downstream from a position where all of the independent exhaust pipes 41...41 are collected, a single exhaust pipe 60 connected to the downstream side of the single exhaust pipe 50, and a catalyst device 70 are disposed successively from an upstream side of an exhaust gas flow. The single exhaust pipe 60 has two bent portions 60a, 60b, and downstream portion 60x of the single exhaust pipe 60 is connected to an inlet portion 70a of the catalyst device 70 so that an exhaust gas is introduced from an oblique side part with respect to an inlet portion 70a of the catalyst device 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
