PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of easily achieving the setting of a microscope system desired by a user.SOLUTION: A microscope system 100 includes a microscope body 10, an imaging apparatus 20 which captures an optical image formed by the microscope body and generates image data, and a controller 30. The controller specifies the present setting of the imaging apparatus 20 and allows a display device 50 to display a display for proposing the setting different from the present setting.
