PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical care support device which enables a user to use a medical care support program without problems, a method and a program for operating the medical care support device, and a medical care support system.SOLUTION: A comparison determination unit 120 compares a specified data range specified as a range used for input data for medical care support programs 101 and a recommended data range set for each medical examination support program 101 and recommended as a range used for input data. The comparison determination unit 120 outputs data found in the specified data range but not in the recommended data range as surplus data and data found in the recommended data range but not in the specified data range as insufficient data. A difference information output unit 121 outputs information about the surplus data and the insufficient data as difference information.
