PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow data to be written into a storage device as changeover destination without interrupting data writing.SOLUTION: A data receiving unit 101 receives data continuously. A write processing unit 102 writes data into a magnetic disk device A300a or a magnetic disk device B300b. A setup processing unit 104 performs setup for allowing data to be written into a magnetic disk device C300c in the case where the connection of the magnetic disk device C300c to a data processing device is detected while data is written into the magnetic disk device A300a or the magnetic disk device B300b. When the setup is completed and the magnetic disk device B300b is short of storage capacity, the write processing unit 102 switches a data write destination to the magnetic disk device C300c and starts data writing into the magnetic disk device C300c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
