Provided is a composite electrode in which the burden of supplying an internal liquid for comparison is very small, and which can be easily miniaturized. The composite electrode is provided with: an inner cylinder 2A having a pH sensitive glass film 24; an inner electrode 11 of a measuring electrode inserted into the inner cylinder 2A; an outer cylinder 3 disposed so as to surround the inner cylinder 2A; an inner electrode 12 of a reference electrode inserted between the outer cylinder 3 and the inner cylinder 2A, a sealing section 4 for providing a seal between the surroundings of the front end section of the inner cylinder 2A and the outer cylinder 3 when the pH sensitive glass film 24 is exposed to the outside; and a cap 7 for sealing the inner cylinder 2A and the outer cylinder 3 at a base end section side, wherein a portion or the entirety of the sealing section 4 is configured with a liquid junction section, potassium chloride tablets and a potassium chloride solution are encapsulated in a receiving section 30 for the internal liquid for comparison which is enclosed by the outer cylinder 3, the inner cylinder 2A, the sealing section 4, and the cap 7. |
