PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for verifying compatibility of an implant for a specified medical procedure.SOLUTION: The method for determining compatibility of an implant comprises: maintaining stored information including product use information for each of a plurality of implants; receiving, during a medical procedure, data identifying an implant; receiving second data identifying characteristics of at least one implant at least associated with a specified medical procedure, one of the characteristics of the implant such as a size of the implant, a material of the implant, a construction of the implant and a system of the implant; and determining, during the medical procedure, compatibility of the implant, based on the data and the stored information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
