摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is superior in output in low SOC, and which can maintain its high performance even after the repetition of charge and discharge at a high rate.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode having a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode mixture layer provided on the surface of the positive electrode current collector. The positive electrode current collector has: a main body layer; and a surface layer made of a carbon material and provided at least on a part of the surface of the main body layer where the positive electrode mixture layer is provided. The positive electrode mixture layer has: a first positive electrode active material; a second positive electrode active material; and a conducting agent. The first positive electrode active material consists of a first lithium complex oxide having a lamellar crystal structure. The second positive electrode active material includes: particles of a second lithium complex oxide having an olivine type crystal structure; a carbon film provided on at least a part of the surface of each second lithium complex oxide particle; and an alginate provided on at least a part of the surface of the carbon film. The conducting agent includes: carbon particles; and an alginate provided on at least a part of the surface of each carbon particle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
