PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which suppresses waste in sheets and improves productivity, a printer and a control method of the printing system.SOLUTION: A printing system generates skip data for setting a skip region where printing is not performed on a continuous sheet by a first printer on the basis of an image based on image data printed by a second printer and a control pattern printed by the second printer, makes the first printer print the image based on the image data in a region other than the skip region of the continuous sheet on the basis of the generated skip data, and makes the second printer print the image based on the image data and the control pattern in the skip region of the continuous sheet or a region corresponding to the skip region on the basis of the skip data generated in the generation process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
