PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal can having a polyhedral wall provided with a top part shape capable of optimizing a chamfer amount of a top part on which boundary ridge lines intersect each other, and to provide a forming method and a forming mold of the metal can.SOLUTION: A metal can 1 has a circumferential polyhedral wall 4 on at least a part of a barrel part 2 and the polyhedral wall 4 is constituted with a number of unit panels 42 partitioned by convex boundary ridge lines 41. Therein, a top part on which the boundary ridge lines 41 forming the unit panels 42 intersect each other is set as a chamfering shape provided with a corner-removed top face part 50 in which a corner of the top is removed, and a center width A between a pair of lateral part ridge lines 52, 52 of the corner-removed top face part 50 is larger than a center width B between a pair of virtual lateral edges 62, 62 of a top part cross-section 66 obtained by cutting a virtual top part 60 having a point at which a pair of extension lines being extended in the circumferential direction of the unit panel 42 and passing through the deepest part as a top point 61 on a top face part 50 position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
