PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform transport device and a method for transporting a transport arm relative to a transport jig which is transporting a preform continuously.SOLUTION: A preform transport device comprises a continuous transport part, an intermittent transport part, and a control part 600. The continuous transport part comprises a first motor 601 for applying transport force to a transport jig, and a first encoder 602 for detecting a rotation angle of the first motor 601, and the intermittent transport part comprises a second motor 603 for applying transport force to a transport arm 301. The control part detects an arrival time when the transport jig arrives at a reference position P0 based on output of the first encoder 602, and commands the second motor to move the transport arm to a target position at a constant interval from the arrival time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
