PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device that maintains the convenience of users while reducing a security risk in using a device API.SOLUTION: When obtaining a program element of an application that calls a function specific to a device by using a device API, such as a JavaScript file, an information processing device determines by a domain determination unit 202 whether or not its domain (a location) is a predetermined location.
