PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical parking facility which can be flexibly arranged in a manner that satisfies a variety of installation conditions without reducing storage efficiency.SOLUTION: A mechanical parking facility 1 comprises storage spaces 50 arranged in a plurality of rows and stories and stores vehicles, entering and leaving the facility through a loading and unloading section 60, on pallets 30 which are moved in vertical and horizontal directions among the plurality of storage spaces 50. The mechanical parking facility 1 has: at least one void space 40 without the pallet 30 among the plurality of storage spaces 50; a vertical driving section which concurrently moves all the pallets 30 in each row of the storage spaces in the vertical direction; a horizontal driving section which individually moves the pallets 30 positioned at the uppermost story and the lowermost story of the storage spaces in the horizontal direction; and a control device 5 which moves and arranges an arbitrary pallet 30 to an arbitrary storage space 50 using the void space 40 through driving control of the vertical and horizontal driving sections.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
