PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which has a decorative body on a surface of a casing such that the decorative body with high rigidity can be easily fixed to the casing, and a television receiver.SOLUTION: A display device has a casing storing a display part and a decorative body covering a part of an outer surface of the casing, the decorative body comprising: a plate-like decorative plate body; an insert part projected at a peripheral edge part of the decorative plate body; and a projection-shaped wide surface-side held part provided on one wide surface side of the decorative plate body and inclined to the side where the insert part is provided, and the casing comprising an insertion hole into which the insert part is inserted; a wide surface-side holding part projected away from the insertion hole and engaged with the wide surface-side held part; and an outer holding part holding the peripheral edge part or insert part of the decorative plate body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
