PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the deviation of a lens position in a lens unit having a compact and inexpensive mechanism.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes a positional deviation amount storage part 72, a position correction part 54, and a motor control part 55. The positional deviation amount storage part 72 stores the previously measured positional deviation amount of a zoom lens as the number of pulses of an encoder. The position correction part 54 calculates a lens correction position in a set zoom step on the basis of the positional deviation amount stored in the positional deviation amount storage part 72.
