PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of performing a flexible control such as suppression of transmission of a signal such as Beacon or change of content in response to a cue such as authentication.SOLUTION: The portable device for performing communication for authentication with an external authentication system includes: transmission means for transmitting authentication information to an authentication system; receiving means for receiving a response to an authentication using authentication information; and control means for controlling at least any one of start and stop of a function for transmitting a signal at a predetermined frequency by using wireless communication by following the received response.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
