The invention relates to a method for positioning a patient in an irradiation device (20), at least having the following steps: placing and fixing the patient on a support (12) of a CT device (10) in a first lying position using fixing means (13), carrying out a 3D CT scan of the patient fixed on the support (12) and of the 3D position markers (1), determining an irradiation isocenter (I) in the 3D CT scan, transmitting the positions and the location of the fixing means (13) relative to the CT device (10) support (12) and the position of the irradiation isocenter (I) relative to the CT device (10) support (12) to the irradiation device (20), moving the patient and, using the transmitted relative positions, fixing the patient in an identical manner on a support (22) of the radiation device (20) in a second resting position, which is identical to the first resting position, using fixing means (23), and automatically orienting the support (22) such that the irradiation isocenter (I) is arranged in the irradiation center (M) of the irradiation device (20). The invention further relates to a therapy system for carrying out the method according to the invention. |
