PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce CO emissions from a combustor.SOLUTION: A combustor comprises: a combustion cylinder 20 on an inner circumferential side of which fuel is burned; an acoustic attenuator 30 which includes part of a plate forming the combustion cylinder 20 and having an acoustic cover 34 which forms a space on an outer circumferential side of the combustion cylinder 20 in cooperation with the part of the plate; and a throttle 40 which constricts and then enlarges a flow passage of gas flowing in the combustion cylinder 20. One or more through-holes 33 penetrating the space from within the combustion cylinder are formed in the part of the plate of the acoustic attenuator 30. A relative position of the throttle 40 to the acoustic attenuator 30 in an axial direction Da is a position at which at least part of the through-holes 33 are present within a region to positions at distances of a smallest throttle radius R upstream and downstream of a position of a smallest throttle diameter 43 that is a position at which the throttle 40 makes the flow passage smallest in the axial direction Da.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
